Situation
The diagnosis is fresh and the business needs an outcome-first plan that fits real weekly capacity.
Outcome
A plan with a primary outcome, a measurement contract on each task, and tasks the business can actually complete this week.
Steps
- 1Name the primary outcome before you read the plan. If it can be measured, it becomes a target (last step); if not, write what success looks like in the Planning Focus field "How will we know this worked?". If neither exists, say success is not defined, and do not proceed without a defined outcome.
- 2Open the Marketing Plan and read the draft the system built from your diagnosis and intake.
- 3Check capacity: does the week's work fit the weekly capacity you set? A good plan does not turn every observation into a task.
- 4Read each task's measurement contract under "How we'll know it worked": target, metric, source, window. If a task can't name its metric and window, it's not ready.
- 5Treat tasks marked "Recommended from your diagnosis" as recommendations, not orders. Reorder with the arrows, "Skip" with a reason, or add custom work with "Add task". Guided, not gated.
- 6Use "Edit plan" only for rework: it builds a new plan for a credit cost shown on the button, archives the current one, and returns a draft you activate with "Use this plan" (see Edit, reorder, skip, or discard a plan responsibly). Use "Save as PDF" if you need to share the plan.
- 7If the plan has no target, open the TARGETS panel (it reads "No target yet. Set the KPI this plan is driving toward.") and press "Set a target".
