FAQ

Know the systembefore you run it.

What Signal & Science is, who built it, what it reads, and how access works. Plain answers, nothing between the lines.

What is Signal & Science?+

Signal & Science is the agentic marketing layer: the system a business runs its marketing decisions through. Point it at your business and it reads your site, social accounts, analytics, store data, competitors, and market, then comes back with a diagnosis and the evidence behind it. It decides what matters next, plans against your real capacity, helps do the work, measures what moved, and learns. Diagnose, decide, plan, execute, measure, learn, go again. Most products own one of those steps; the sequence is the part that compounds.

Who is Signal & Science for?+

Everyone who has to decide where marketing money goes. A business can run its own marketing through it. A fractional CMO or an agency can run twenty clients through the same layer, with client isolation built in. Plans are sized to your actual capacity, so a two-person team gets a two-person plan, not the workload of twelve.

Who built Signal & Science?+

Reverge, the Los Angeles creative technology group that has spent twenty years building the strategy, software, and media behind work for Fox, Sony, Starz, Meta, the Lakers, and the Dodgers. Signal & Science is the operating discipline behind that work, turned into software.

What does the free diagnostic do?+

Paste a website, yours or a client's, and get one evidence-backed recommendation: what to do, why it matters, and a ready-to-send brief. It is free, requires no login, and reads only public information. It never touches your accounts.

How is this different from hiring an agency?+

It is the system an agency uses to decide which work matters, turned into software you run yourself. Every plan runs the complete system; plans differ by capacity, not capability. Many members run it alongside an agency or fractional leader, because the diagnosis, priorities, and briefs give everyone the same source of truth.

How is this different from an analytics dashboard?+

Dashboards report what happened and leave the deciding to you. Signal & Science reads the same signals and comes back with an argument, not a score out of a hundred: what is working, what is broken, what you are missing, with the evidence attached. Then it decides what matters next and plans the week against your real capacity.

How is this different from asking a chatbot?+

A chatbot answers the question you thought to ask and forgets you when the tab closes. Signal & Science holds the business context, watches the sources week over week, and raises what matters with the evidence behind it. What it learns goes into that business's memory and changes what it recommends next. Week fifty is a different product than week one, for your specific business.

What data does it read?+

Connections are read-only, always: Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, Meta and Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Shopify, and WooCommerce, plus your site, reviews, and market signals. You can start with just your website; integrations make the system smarter, but they are not required for your first weekly plan.

How is my data secured?+

Each workspace is isolated with row-level security enforced in the database, and every integration is read-only: the system reads your analytics and accounts, and it cannot post, spend, or change anything. Access is granted through each platform's own permissions and can be revoked there anytime. For larger organizations we support security reviews and vendor questionnaires, sign data processing agreements, and share security documentation on request.

Can a large organization run on this?+

Yes. Enterprise deployment is scoped directly with you: custom capacity and commercial terms, MSA and DPA, invoice and purchase-order billing, a security review with our CTO, and founder-led onboarding. Regulated verticals run with compliance gates and human review. It starts with a call from the pricing page.

How does access work?+

Through a founding walkthrough during the founding cohort. Start the signup with your website, and on the call we run the diagnosis on your business live; if it is a fit, you leave with your founding rate and a checkout link. Your subscription starts with a one-on-one founder onboarding session that connects your data and generates your first weekly plan.

What does it cost?+

In-house is $499 a month for one business; the founding rate is $249. Agency is $999 a month with 3 client workspaces included, then $149 per additional active client; the founding rate is $499, and additional clients stay $149. Founding rates are held for 24 months and decided on a founding call. Billing is monthly, cancel anytime, and your first payment carries a 30-day money-back guarantee. Full details are on the pricing page.
