Ask the Marketing Advisor Without Guessing

Ask the Marketing Advisor questions that return answers with named, verifiable provenance, or an honest research-needed response.

Situation

You need advice grounded in this workspace, not generic marketing tips, and you need the answer to show its work.

Outcome

An answer with named provenance that you can verify, or an honest answer labeled "Needs research" that says what it would look into.

Steps

  1. 1Click "Chat with Marketing Advisor" (top-right header button). Or use the Command Center box: "YOUR MARKETING ADVISOR" / "What are we working on?" ("Ask a question. Share an idea. Start something.").
  2. 2Ask a specific question tied to your outcome and evidence. Start from the copyable Advisor prompts.
  3. 3Read the "Grounded on" row under the answer: which workspace context did it draw on (for example Diagnosis, Plan, Research, or Targets)? Then separate what the evidence shows from the advisor's interpretation and recommendation.
  4. 4If the advisor says it needs research instead of guessing, that is the system working correctly. Give it the research (Add Research That Improves Context). Don't ask it to invent measurements, competitor facts, attribution, revenue, or citations.
  5. 5Turn a good answer into a recorded decision: when the advisor proposes actions, the choice you make is kept in Decision Memory. Don't assume a chat on its own becomes Marketing Memory; recorded outcomes are what the next plan can stand on.
