Add Research That Improves Context

Add a source that reaches Context ready in the right mode, so the advisor and the plan reason from the business's real context.

Situation

The advisor or the plan keeps giving generic answers because it lacks the business's real context: offers, objections, past results.

Outcome

At least one source reaches "Context ready" in the right mode, and you can see it informing recommendations.

Steps

  1. 1Open Research (Open in Signal & Science). The page heading is "Research", with the subheading "Sources the marketing brain uses across your Plan, Advisor, content, and briefings."
  2. 2Press "Add sources" (or drag and drop anywhere on the page). Add a file, a URL, or pasted text: a service menu, an offer sheet, notes on the best past campaign, real sales objections.
  3. 3Classify it: "My Content" for the business's own material, "Market Sources" for outside research (the "Use as Market Sources" checkbox).
  4. 4Watch the states: uploading → validating → ready. Wait for "Context ready". A source that is accepted is not ready until extraction completes.
  5. 5Ask the Marketing Advisor a question the new source should inform. Check the "Grounded on" row under the answer: does it include Research? A source's existence is not proof its claims are true.
  6. 6If a source suggests a plan update, it arrives in the Decision Inbox on the Plan with "Apply" and "Dismiss". Decide explicitly; nothing is silently applied.
