Prerequisites
A signed-in account; a workspace with business context (intake, diagnosis, or sources) for grounded answers.
Exact steps
- 1Click "Chat with Marketing Advisor" in the top-right header, or use the Command Center box "YOUR MARKETING ADVISOR" ("What are we working on?", with the prompt "Ask a question. Share an idea. Start something."). Suggestion chips: "Plan a campaign", "Analyze results", "Research a competitor", "Create something".
- 2Ask a specific, context-rich question. The Academy's Advisor prompts collection has six copyable starters.
- 3Read the provenance under the answer: the "Grounded on" row names the workspace context it drew on (for example Diagnosis, Plan, Research, or Targets). Keep what the evidence shows separate from the advisor's interpretation and recommendation.
- 4If the advisor labels its answer "Needs research" instead of guessing, supply the research (see Add a research source) and ask again.
Expected result
An answer grounded in your workspace with named provenance, or an honest statement of what evidence is missing.
Troubleshooting
Generic-sounding answers mean thin context: complete the intake, add sources, connect integrations. Never ask the advisor to invent measurements, competitor facts, attribution, revenue, or citations. Conversations are private to you by default and belong to the active client workspace.
