Understand plan usage (Settings → Usage)

A signed-in account.

1. 1Go to Settings → Usage (Open in Signal & Science).
2. 2Read the heading "Usage" and "Plan limits and reset timing".
3. 3Note the reset date shown on the page. That is when your plan usage resets.
4. 4Under "Plan usage limits", read the "Current plan period" row: a progress bar and the percentage used. This is the number to plan against.

You know how much of the plan has been used and when it resets.

Capacity questions ("what consumes plan usage?"): heavier actions (a diagnosis, a plan generation) consume more than an advisor turn; idea generation is one flat text action; each rendered image is billed at the live per-image price. Many actions quote their credit cost on the button before they run, and billing settings list the cost of each action. Retries are safe: failed actions are idempotent and refunded. The credit count in the top bar shows what is left this period; for planning, read the percentage used under "Current plan period".
