Company ticker (public companies)

The business is a public company.

1. 1Open Workspace and find the "Company ticker" card, marked optional and for public companies.
2. 2Press "Add company ticker", enter the ticker symbol, press "Look up", and confirm the match with "Yes, this is us". Choose the filing to use and press "Confirm and pull".
3. 3The confirmed ticker keeps official SEC filings in Research and lets the app compare reported marketing investment with public competitors. It is context for reading the business. It is never a grade, and never a substitute for the business's own measured outcomes.

The card shows the company and its ticker with "Manage ticker and filing", and the filing appears in Research once it has been pulled.

Private businesses skip this card entirely; it's optional and only meaningful for public companies. The official filing snapshot is kept separate from the public-surface diagnosis, and unsupported facts are not treated as zeros, grades, or targets. Pulling a filing can take a few minutes; you can leave the page while it runs.
